Hushed dating app

Perfect for …

Find someone in a dating app, then give them your Hushed number when it’s time to start texting and calling. If it doesn’t work out, delete the number and never speak to them again.

Hushed for online dating

If some creep won’t leave you alone, give them your Hushed number. They’ll hear your text pop in and know it’s not a fake phone number. But they don’t know you can just delete the whole number. Ha!

Hushed for creeps in a bar

Blind dates suck, but what’s worse is having to politely keep up the conversation with someone you never want to date. Call and text with them on your Hushed number, and dodge them whenever.

Hushed for bad dates

If you don’t want random hookups reaching out on your real phone number, give them a separate Hushed phone number. All of their calls and texts stay locked away in Hushed, for whenever you wanna see ’em.

Hushed for hookups

No need to leave them on ‘Read.’ Stick to using your Hushed number for calling and texting with casual hookups, and you can make the whole relationship disappear faster than the chemistry did.

Hushed for ghosting

Prevent your well-being friends from snatching up your phone and reading texts between you and someone special. Everything stays tucked away in the Hushed app, where no one knows to look.

Hushed for dating privacy

Hushed is perfect for dating

  • Hushed lets you created second phone numbers, so you have a number to give out instead of your real phone number. You can send and receive texts, make and answer phone calls, and accept voicemails (with a custom voicemail greeting).

  • It depends on how long you’ve been with the person, and how much you feel you can trust them. Your real phone number is tied to a LOT of important stuff (including 2FA codes) so you don’t want just anybody having it.

  • Yes, you can always block somebody’s phone number … but that doesn’t stop them from knowing your number, and potentially doing something malicious with that personal tidbit.

  • Relationships can get messy. If something doesn’t work out and the other person is angry, they might try to hurt you. And if they’re tech-savvy, revenge could come in the form of spoofing your number (make calls/send texts that appear to be coming from you), blackmail you, hack into your accounts by getting your 2FA codes.

  • No one will know you’re calling or texting on a Hushed phone number. It’s a real working phone number, and it will show up as a standard phone number (area code, etc.) on someone’s Caller ID.

  • No problem! If your relationship becomes serious and you want to upgrade them from your Hushed number to your real number, you can tell them there was an issue with your phone provider and you “had to get a new number.” Then just give them your real phone number.

  • We need an email address from you, and that’s what you’ll use as your username when you log in. We don’t ask for your name, address, or real phone number.

Who’s using Hushed for dating?

Romantics who don’t want to reveal their real phone number

I couldn’t help but wonder … when is it the right time to give someone your real phone number?

Carrie B.

I think you have different soulmates throughout your life. And different phone numbers for each of them.

Kimmy K.

I like having a separate phone number for each girlfriend. They turn 25, I delete the number. It’s a nice clean break for both of us.

Leo D.

Wish I never hung up the phone like I did. (I should have deleted the whole number instead.)
