Love is Blind Spoilers

CAUTION: This article contains Love is Blind spoilers.
The first 12 episodes of Love is Blind Season 8 are out on Netflix now. The season finale is scheduled to air on March 7th, meaning that we’ll see which of the final couples make it to the altar, and which ones will say “I do.”
If you’re not caught up on this season, save yourself from spoilers and go binge all the released episodes before reading any further.
Here’s a list of the remaining couples and predictions on which ones will go all the way and end up married on this experimental dating show.
Dave & Lauren
First up, this couple has already called it quits so we can effectively move them off the roster of possible marriages. But while we’re on the subject, their demise was straight out of the toxic masculinity playbook (perhaps with a pinch of familial enmeshment on Dave’s part).
While rumours of Lauren’s previous relationship drove the initial wedge, it was Dave’s inability to trust her as a partner and move beyond her past that truly rang the death knell. All viewers rolled their eyes at his “I want what I can’t have” half-hearted attempt at reconciliation.
Shout out to Molly for being the girl’s girl Lauren deserved and reiterating that, ultimately, this is Dave’s loss.
Daniel & Taylor
Word on the street is that Taylor and Daniel make it to the wedding, both agree to enter into holy matrimony and are, reportedly, still going strong. Is it true? I guess we’ll find out for sure on the reunion, set to air on March 9th.
This is a wild twist as many viewers are still skeptical that Daniel was forthcoming about not having followed Taylor on Instagram prior to the show.
Devin & Virginia
Virginia, the brilliant, beautiful, goddess, has been clear from the beginning that her independence and autonomy are of the utmost importance. Putting forth a reasonable prenuptial agreement seemed to fit with what she projects as a woman with modern values.
Devin, arguably mediocre at best, responded with confusion and hurt about the (let’s face it, very real) possibility that their relationship might not last. Though he came around eventually, tied also to their political misalignment, the connection between this couple seems tenuous.
Ben & Sara
Religion is too large of an issue for two individuals to carry differing views and still be on the same page for the future of their relationship—particularly if one of them is exceptionally devout.
Sara clearly put forth an admirable effort to give Ben’s faith and spiritual practices a chance (far more than the average agnostic might be expected to), but she didn’t appear to be moved by the holy and that might be a deal breaker for Ben.
Joey & Monica
Let’s just say what we’re all thinking: this guy’s personality is 50% hair, 50% Minnesota accent—and it’s carrying him further than it should in this relationship.
While they’ve flown under the radar in terms of drama, this might actually point to a lack of interest and passion between the couple. There’s been speculation that Joey’s interest in Monica is not reciprocated in a way that would indicate readiness for a lifelong commitment.
Most people are not expecting this pair to walk away with rings on their fingers after the finale.
