Who Is Elon Musk Dating?

He’s everywhere these days. From politics, to tech, to science research, finance, you name it.

We’re a far cry from the occasional news source about the quirky face of Tesla and SpaceX. Now he’s inextricably linked to international relations, which begs the question: what other kinds of relations is he having these days? And with whom?

Elon’s Ever-Growing Web of Lovers (and Children) 

As of now, 2025, Elon Musk’s relationship status seems a bit complicated (so, status quo for this guy), but for clarity’s sake, in the words of Maria Von Trapp, let’s start at the very beginning to answer the question “who is Elon Musk dating?”. 

Justine Musk (2000–2008)

Justine Musk was Elon’s first wife, a Canadian author, and mother of his first five children. They first met while attending Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada and married in 2000. Sadly, their first born, Nevada Alexander, passed away from SIDS at only 10 weeks old in 2002.

The couple went on to welcome twins, Griffin and Vivian in 2004, and triplets, Kai, Saxon and Damian, in 2006. Justine and Elon divorced in 2008.  

Talulah Riley (2010–2016)

A British actress best known for Westworld, Talulah actually married Musk twice before calling it quits for good. The two were hitched for the first time at Dornoch Cathedral in Scotland in 2010, but divorced in 2012. Unable to stay away from each other, they married again in 2013, lasting as a couple until 2016.

Amber Heard (2017)

An actress embroiled in drama and controversy surrounding her relationship with Johnny Depp, Amber Heard dated Elon briefly following her divorce from Depp. The pair claims the split was amicable and due to their busy schedules.  

Grimes a.k.a. Claire Boucher (2018–2021, kind of?)

Claire Boucher, a Canadian musician, was the next to enter into a (very bizarre) public relationship with Elon. The two raised eyebrows in 2020 with the arrival of their first child, a son named X Æ A-12 (not a typo).

At the end of 2021, they welcomed a daughter. Not to be outdone with the unconventional name of their first, this one called Exa “Y” Dark Sideræl.

They upped the ante a third time, with son, Techno Mechanicus, born in 2023—though they had definitely called it quits by this point.  

Shivon Zilis (2021–Present?)

With some confusing overlap across his relationship with Grimes, Musk also partnered with Shivon, Neuralink executive, and the two quietly used IVF to conceive twins in 2021, and another baby in 2024. In 2025, a fourth for the pair brought Elon’s baby total up to 14. Interestingly, Shivon denies any romantic involvement with Elon.  

Natasha Bassett (2022)

The Australian actress was linked to Elon in 2022, though their romance appears to have been short lived (and no kids this time.)

Ashley St. Clair (2023-2024)

Ashley emerged onto the scene to reveal that Elon had fathered another child, lucky number 13, with her in 2024. A right-wing influencer, Ashley has taken to social media to reveal that court proceedings are underway to ensure Elon accepts his parenting responsibilities. 

Elon has been known to believe in a responsibility to increase the human population, with his genes at the forefront of the charge, although why women keep choosing to have children with him remains a bit of a mystery—but, as they say, we listen and we don’t judge.
