New Features on the iOS 7 Version of Hushed

We are pleased to announce that we have recently updated a new version of Hushed that is filled with a bunch of great new features and updates that we think you will love!  For starters, we made sure that we resolved all of those pesky bugs in the application but we have also updated our IOS version to fully support the great new features in IOS7.  Users will have a greater, faster and cleaner interface along with a bug-free version as soon as you update.

We are also excited to tell you about a new feature that many users have been requesting.  Hushed now supports picture sharing on both IOS and Android devices. Now you can share pictures messages, see our new transitions and Chat Bubbles to easily differentiate between conversations.

Hushed allows users to send and receive calls through a disposable, temporary phone number to anywhere in the world. Each Hushed number has unlimited voicemail, and is available in two different phone number plans: pay as you go or monthly plans, they can range from as low as $1.99 for 7 Days up to $9.99 for 90 Days and Top-Up Plans starting at $5.00. Users can select a phone number from a wide range of area codes from 40+ countries worldwide. Hushed has it’s own dialer so all incoming and outgoing calls are made directly within the App and each number can be disposed of at any time.

Currently, only North American (Canadian, American)  numbers are able to send and receive text messages and picture messages within North America. United Kingdom numbers are only permitted to do so within the U.K using U.K numbers.

The importance of privacy and maintaining anonymity in Hushed is so important, with this being said we have added the “no save, no share” feature on all picture messages received. The receiver of the picture will not be able to “save” or “share” the photo. This is ideal for customers who join online communities and social networking sites; online buyers and merchants via Kijiji, eBay Classifieds, or social media; online dating site members; travellers who need a temporary number while on a trip and people connecting with family and friends overseas.
